Lumber
Yard / Saw Foreman
BASIC FUNCTION:
- Controls and manages yard direct reports to prepare and fill lumber orders
- Co-ordinate with other foreman and supervisors, to fully utilise labour, or reassign to other departments, and if there is no other work, send labourers home
- Manage the Lumber yard, including keeping the yard tidy and orderly, for ease of locating and filling orders
- Able to work with many different teams on multiple projects simultaneously
- Oversee the entire lumber yard, and be the eyes, ears, and mouth for the GM
- Oversee forklift operators, to ensure that material is being moved from the long term lumber yard to the short term yard in a timely manner

Experience
- 5 – 10 years supervisory experience, industry experience is an asset.
- Extensive knowledge of the Lumber or construction Industry
